In my travels of the Internet, I came across this web site www.howstuffworks.com, and typed in “mortgage”, and what came up was the best explanation of how mortgages work, that I have ever seen. So, if you want to do your homework to learn the “lingo”, before calling a Mortgage Broker, this would be the place to go.

I also found at www.howstuffworks.com, a pretty good explanation of How Credit scoring works, check it out.

Keep in mind, the higher your credit scores the lower the interest rate you can obtain.
